At YEP we view the practice of exercise as an exertion of energy to promote health in the system. Exercise as a practice comes in many forms including, physical, social behavioral, as well as mental. While fitness is leveled and can serve as the gateway to health, it is important to note that a complete focus on physical fitness may not always lead to mental fitness, thereby bringing us out of health and into disease.
We're all made of trillions of human cells and microbial genes alike. Our cells influence every element of our human existence. Our moods, appetites, behaviors, absolutely everything is affected by the activity of the cells. We teach the practice of MGM which focuses on Movement, Gut and Mind. We favor a whole system approach that emphasizes increased physical exertion, proper gut health and mental exercises.
